The timeline shows you the projections of all the people you’ve crossed paths with, in real-time. Every time you come across someone in real life, their active projection appears on your app given it matches your preferences settings.
When it says « Now » on someone’s profile, it means you are currently « crossing paths », and that this person is currently within close distance. To be precise, it means the person is within a 300m distance from you. For privacy reasons, the app won’t tell you the exact distance.
This may be temporary so I would suggest trying again at a later time. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app. To reinstall, just delete the app from your phone and download Boreas again. As long as you don't delete your account, this won't delete your feed and projections.
If you want to upload a photo/video for your post or profile photos directly from your phone, Boreas needs access to your photos. If you denied Boreas access to your photos, go to 'Settings' on your phone, find 'Boreas,' and enable photo access.
Make sure you have the latest version of Boreas and that your phone’s operating system is up-to-date, then try force quitting the app. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app. To reinstall, just delete the app from your phone and download it again. As long as you don’t delete your account, this won’t delete your feed and projections.
